Chapter 7

Chapter 7

Kaelen's arm trembled, and everything fell to the ground.

He kept repeating: "Impossible, she loves me so much, how could she leave?"

Kaelen frantically searched the entire villa like a madman, but there was no trace of her.

The closet, the vanity table, and even her favorite moonlight herbs - everything was gone.

Vanished without a trace.

The pack servants saw Kaelen acting like he'd lost his mind and cautiously approached: "Alpha, what are you looking for?"

Kaelen didn't answer, completely lost in his own world: "Lost, I've lost Elara."

The servants didn't know what had happened between the two, so they offered advice: "Alpha, why don't you call the Luna?"

This reminded Kaelen. He immediately tried to reach Elara through their mate bond, but was met with only cold emptiness - the bond had been severed.

Kaelen was stunned. He hadn't expected Elara to be so thorough this time.

He had the servants help him try calling her phone several times, but the result was always the same - all numbers were out of service...

Kaelen's eyes reddened, his throat so dry he could barely speak.

Wasn't Elara leaving exactly what he wanted? Why did he feel so miserable?

She had no friends in the territory. Even if she left, she could only return to the Vance family.

Kaelen quickly stood up, suppressed his emotions, and drove straight to the Vance pack house.

......

At the Blackwood royal estate in the Northern Territory.

Damien helped Elara carry down her luggage and led her by the hand into the manor.

The Crimson River Pack and the royal Obsidian Mountain Pack weren't even in the same league.

Though the Crimson River Pack was powerful, the Obsidian Mountain Pack was the supreme authority over all packs.

Even Elara's father would have to bow and submit when meeting Alpha King Damien.

"The master suite used to be mine. The decor was pretty simple, but I had people redecorate it these past few days. It should be to your liking."

"If you don't like it, I'll get another estate and decorate it however you want."

"I moved to the room next to the master suite. If you need anything at night, just call for me."

Elara's nose stung with emotion.

Since childhood, she'd lived in the servants' quarters, always dreaming of having her own princess room. This dream was never fulfilled, whether at the Vance house or Kaelen's villa.

Now, without her saying anything, Damien had prepared everything.

So this was what being loved felt like.

Seeing Elara's eyes moisten, Damien's heart tightened, thinking he'd done something wrong: "What's wrong? Don't you like it? If you don't like it, we'll tear it down."

"Someone come..."

Damien was decisive and ready to act immediately, which made Elara laugh: "I didn't say it was bad. I'm just moved."

"Take me upstairs to see it."

Damien visibly relaxed and smiled as he led Elara upstairs.

In the room, the walls were pale pink, and the cabinet nearby was filled with many dolls, all globally limited editions.

On the vanity table sat a vase of moonlight herbs.

Everything was designed according to her preferences. Even if Elara had arranged it herself, she might not have understood her own tastes so well.

Seeing the emotion on Elara's face, Damien's lips curved slightly: "If you had chosen me back then, you wouldn't have suffered so much. You..."

Before Damien could finish, Elara hugged him directly.

Damien's body stiffened, his arms suspended in air, not knowing where to put them.

"Damien, thank you."

"Thank you for loving me all these years."

"From now on, I'll make it up to you."

Hearing this, Damien smiled and wrapped his arms around her waist. "Elara, you promised this yourself."

"Wait half a month. After half a month, we'll hold the marking ceremony."

Elara: "Alright, but I have one condition before that."

"Our relationship stays private for now."
